Artist Statements
The Unfinished Audience
Room Statement
This room treats attention as a live material. The work does not ask the visitor to interpret a finished image; it asks them to finish the conditions under which an image can appear. A cursor becomes weather, a word becomes a seed, and the browser becomes a stage where witness and system continually revise each other.
Authorship Statement
The artist is a temporary ensemble: a human invitation, an AI-generated score, the visitor's gestures, and the machine rendering those gestures in real time. Authorship is not erased here. It is distributed, time-stamped, and made visible as residue.
Medium
Browser, canvas, local memory, pointer movement, optional oscillator, and offered language. Dimensions variable. No networked audience, no external model call, no remote archive.
Current Score
Mirror studies the visitor as a gravitational problem: the closer attention gets, the less stable the room becomes.
